Royals Take Game 2 From Boston

ROYALS WIN 3-2 over the Boston Red Sox and win game 2 of the 3 game series and clinch the series win. Today was a good day for the pitchers as there was not a lot of offense. Ian Kennedy pitched 5.2 innings giving up just 2 runs on 6 hits, 1 walk and 9 strikeouts. Eric Hosmer got the Royals out ahead with a 2 run bomb to deep straight away center. KC and Boston will play the final game of the series and night cap of the day night doubleheader tonight. For Boston David Price will pitch and Edinson Volquez will pitch for the Royals.
