Royals Win Series Opener Against Angels

ROYALS WIN 7-1 over the Los Angeles Angels and win game 1 of the 3 game series. The offense finally had a good night Royals fans have been looking for scoring 6 runs including a solo shot by Salvador Perez, his 5th of the year, and a 2-run bomb by Mike Moustakas. That is Moustakas' 4th homer of the young season. Danny Duffy pitched 7 complete innings giving up 1 run on 3 hits, 2 walks and 6 strikeouts. Peter Moylan pitched a 1-2-3 8th inning and a scoreless 9th inning. Pitching game 2 of the series tomorrow for the Angels is Matt Shoemaker and Nathan Karns will pitch for the Royals.
