Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Vincent Velasquez has been placed on the 15-day DL with a right bicep strain.
He left Wednesday's game against the Chicago Cubs with the strain. He only threw two pitches in the game.
He has started 11 games for the Phillies this season, posting a 5-2 record 3.67 ERA to go along with his record.
Velasquez had Tommy John surgery in 2011 and didn't return until the end of the 2012 season.
SB Nation reported that Velasquez even felt discomfort during warmups on Wednesday.
