Royals Take Game 1 Over Tampa

ROYALS WIN 7-3 over the Tampa Bay Rays and win game 1 of the 4 game series. The offense was on fire tonight scoring 7 runs on a season high 13 hits including Drew Butera hitting his first homer of the season. Nathan Karns pitched 6.1 innings giving up just 1 run on 6 hits, 2 walks and he tied his career high with 10 strikeouts. Pitching game 2 of the series tomorrow for the Rays is Matt Andriese.
