Royals Hold Off Late Comeback

ROYALS WIN 7-5 over the Houston Astros and win game 3 of the 4 game series and clinch at worst a series split. The Royals offense continued its hot streak scoring 7 runs on 11 hits including a solo homer by Lorenzo Cain in the bottom of the 3rd inning to straight away center field. That homer is the 4th of the season for Cain. Jason Vargas pitched 5 complete innings giving up 2 runs on 6 hits, 1 walk and 5 strikeouts. Pitching the final game of the series tomorrow for Houston is Lance McCullers Jr. and Jason Hammel will pitch for the Royals.
