Perez Wins Series With Grand Slam

ROYALS WIN 6-4 over the Boston Red Sox and win the final game of the series and win the series. The Royals were down 4-2 going into the bottom of the 8th inning when Salvador Perez hit a 3-2 fastball into the Royals bullpen for a grand slam giving the Royals a 6-4 lead. That home run is homer number 15 for Perez this season. Ian Kennedy gave up 4 runs on 3 hits, 3 walks and 4 strikeouts. Kelvin Herrera pitched a scoreless 9th inning for his 17th save. The Royals have a day off tomorrow before continuing the homestand with a 3 game series with the Toronto Blue Jays. Starting Friday for the Blue Jays is J.A.
