Royals Split Series With Giants

ROYALS WIN 2-0 over the San Francisco Giants and win the final game of the 2 game series and split the series at one game a piece. It was a pitching duel as Jason Vargas for the Royals and Madison Bumgarner both pitched well but it was Vargas who got the upper hand. Vargas pitched 7 complete innings giving up 0 runs on 4 hits, 0 walks and 9 strikeouts. The Royals will now go on the road on a 7 game, 2 series road trip starting with a 4 game series with the Texas Rangers beginning with game 1 tomorrow.
