Braves to Call Up Dansby Swanson

The Atlanta Braves will call up shortstop Dansby Swanson. The Arizona Diamondbacks picked him with the first overall pick in the 2015 MLB Draft. They traded him to the Braves short after for pitcher Shelby Miller.

Swanson has hit eight home runs and recorded 45 RBIs in Double-A play this season. He also has stolen six bases. The Braves play the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday.
