Royals Extend Winning Streak

ROYALS WIN 2-1 over the Minnesota Twins and win the final game of the series and sweep the series. The offense wasn't as explosive as they have been lately but they scored just enough to give the pitching staff room to work with. Danny Duffy added to his campaign to win the Cy Young award with another quality start throwing 6.2 innings giving up 1 run on 8 hits, 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. The Royals have a day off tomorrow as they travel for a 6 game, 2 series road trip starting on Tuesday with the Miami Marlins.
