Royals Take Series Opener From Sox

ROYALS WIN 4-1 over the Chicago White Sox and win game 1 of the 3 game series. The Royals were down by 1 when they got a 3 run 6th inning and 1 more run in the 7th. All but one guy in the Royals lineup had a hit today it was really a good game from the offense. Dillon Gee pitched 5 complete innings giving up just 1 run on 4 hits, 1 walk and 5 strikeouts. Then he handed the ball to the bullpen as Hochevar, Soria, Herrera, and Davis all pitched one inning of work and closed the game out. Game 2 of the series is tomorrow. For the Sox Miguel Gonzalez will pitch and Danny Duffy will pitch for the Royals. The game is scheduled for 1:10 at U.S. Cellular Field. #ForeverRoyal -#RoyalNoah
