The Arizona Diamondbacks have activated pitcher Zack Greinke from the disabled list. He will start for the team in their game against the New York Mets on Tuesday night.

The Diamondbacks placed Greinke on the DL on July 3 with tightness in his oblique. He suffered the injury on June 28.

He is 10-3 with a 3.62 ERA in his first season with the team. He signed a six year $206.5 million deal with the Diamondbacks in the offseason. He spent most of his career with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
