Dodgers Demote Yasiel Puig to Minors

The Los Angeles Dodgers have sent Yasiel Puig down to the minor leagues. Bleacher Report reports that Puig will play with the Dodgers' Triple-A affiliate team, the Oklahoma City Dodgers.

Puig has hit seven home runs this season. The team even tried trading Puig before the trade deadline. That unfortunately didn't work in their favor. Puig was not happy with the news, either, according to FOX Sports. He didn't join the team for their series in Denver against the Colorado Rockies.
