Yankees Trade Carlos Beltran to Rangers

The Texas Rangers have acquired Carlos Beltran in a trade with the New York Yankees. Texas will send prospect Dillon Tate to the Bronx. Beltran led the Yankees in doubles, home runs and RBIs, as well as slugging percentage. 

Beltran's contract is to expire at the end of the season. Tate has struggled this season, recording a 5.12 ERA.
