The Royals finally got a good pitching performance as Ian Kennedy pitched 7 complete innings giving up just 1 run on 3 hits, 1 walk and 11 strikeouts. The offense scored 6 runs including 2 solo shots by Kendrys Morales and a 2-run bomb by Cheslor Cuthbert. The Royals now start a quick 2 game series at home against the St. Louis Cardinals.
