Cleveland added a veteran arm to the bullpen mix on Monday, signing Craig Srammen to a minor league contract with an invite to Spring Training. There are a few questions surrounding the Cleveland 'pen going into 2016, but Stammen joins a solid group of veteran NRI's vying for a bullpen spot. In 229 career appearances, the 31 year old has posted a 26-24 record with an ERA of 3.91. Last season, injuries held him to only five games, in which he went four scoreless innings. Stammen joins Austin Adams, Shawn Armstrong, Kyle Crokett, Dan Otero, Giovanni Soto, Joba Chamberlain, Ross Detwiler, Tom Gorzelanny, Jarret Grube, Felipe Paulino, and Joe Thatcher in the battle for a Cleveland bullpen spot. The Indians bullpen already sports Cody Allen, Jeff Manship, Zach McAllister, and Bryan Shaw, so there will be a few spots for Stammen to contend for.
