The Texas Rangers have signed former New York Met Ike Davis
to a minor league contract, with an invite to Spring Training. Davis spent last season with the Oakland
Athletics, where he appeared in just 74 games due to injury.
Davis will look to revive his MLB career, as he
has really struggled since hitting 32 homeruns during the 2012 season. Last season, Davis hit just .229 with three
HRs and 20 RBIs. If he can avoid injury,
he will look to make a positive impact on a Rangers team in need of some power.
