Mariners set to sign Dae-Ho Lee

According to a baseball source the Mariners are set to sign Korean 1B to a major league contract. The slugging 1B was highly scouted by the M's during the Premier 12 Tournament in Toyko last November.

Lee, who will turn 34 in June, hit .282 with a .892 OPS with 20 doubles, 31 HR's and 98 RBI in 141 games last season in the Japan Pacific League of Nippon Professional Baseball League with Fukuoka Softbank.

It will be interesting to see what the mashing 1B can bring to the table for the M's.

As always thoughts and comments are appreciated

 Mikey out!
