The Marlins have signed another "Bargain"
off of the wire......
Breaking News:........1B/3B Chris Johnson was
released by the Indians, but has caught on with the Miami Marlins, in another
inexpensive signing for the Fish. Most of Johnson's salary will be covered by
the Indians, similar to the Edwin Jackson signing.
Johnson has played primarily at 3B, but could be a
valuable bench bat, as well as a platoon partner vs lefties for Justin Bour. In
2014, he batted just .263 overall, but his slash line for facing a lefty looked
pretty impressive.
