Whitesox offseason

My personal opinion the whitesox need to decide all in or all out. By trading away Micah Johnson, Frankie Montas and Trayce Thompson for 2 years of Frazier you were saying we are going for it. I won't blame you for not signing Cespedes if you have something bigger planned like a trade for a young up and coming outfielder like a Polanco or Ozuna. I would maybe be ok even with a Puig so Abreu can mentor him and tap into his untapped potential. I'm all for building for the future and being competitive in the division. You had two choices which one was shove the chips in mortgage the future and be stacked for this upcoming season, like the Tigers just did by getting upton. Or you go the other direction and you cash in on sale Abreu Quintana Eaton and bring in some prospects that you just might hit on and build a core. Don't get me wrong it would hurt to see Sale in a different uniform. Main thing I see wrong is we haven't drafted players well past the first round so real problem lies in analyzing the prospects and drafting what might be a hidden gem. Our farm system has been in bottom 1/3 for years now and we have had top 10 picks it doesn't make sense why we aren't moving up the board. We had a payroll of 140 million in 2011 and we haven't came close to it in years. I believe if front office had some faith in the fans with the revenue going up they could easily sign Cespedes, Desmond, and add a fister or latos to the rotation. We haven't even signed the best bullpen guy back in Matt Albers. We are 70 million away from luxury tax. You can't tell me you think sale is going to come back when he doesn't get to taste the postseason in chicago? I know from outside it looks like we were going to make a run at a 30 year old Matt Weiters which I would have liked but saving the money and bringing in two guys on 1 year deals which are left handed is a steal. Point of the story is Jerry isn't getting any younger and we need to try and win another ring just like Ilitch is doing in Detroit. PUSH THE CHIPS IN AND SIGN THE MAN. HE WANTS 4, 5, or 6 years give it to him but do it how the red sox did Lackey deal with loup out on later years. You want to win make it happen listen to JERRY MCGUIRE.....SHOW HIM THE MONEY....
