My name is Jack Kavanaugh and I am your new St. Louis Cardinals weekly contributor. I have been passionate and deeply interested in the game of baseball from a young age, especially since I grew up in the great baseball town of St. Louis. I am also a collector of statistics and knowledge about the Cardinals as a hobby, and I hope to be able to share these talents as well as my talent of writing with you readers over the coming weeks. Over the weeks following this post, you will be deeply immersed with statistics, opinionated writing, general Cardinals news, and much more. I bring an interesting viewpoint into my opinionated sports writings. I am non-biased to the team and look at situations from two sides, generally a positive viewpoint and an opposing viewpoint. This allows readers of my articles to gain a better understanding of the facts and will hopefully allow them to make an educated stand as to which side of the situation they agree with. In my statistics-based posts, my proficiency with statistics makes for an interesting read, while my writing techniques allow the post to flow without filling the readers' heads full of plain numbers. An in-depth explanation follows all of the statistic-based posts so that they are easy to understand. General Cardinals news (i.e. trades, injuries, etc.) may also be discussed in certain posts. In conclusion, I heartily look forward to sharing my writing talents with you readers and bringing you interesting, flavorful, and opinionated posts about the St. Louis Cardinals.
