New St Louis Cardinals Weekly Contributor

Good evening Cards fans! I'd like to start off by introducing myself. My name is Corey. I'm a full-time firefighter, father of one beautiful girl and I've been a fan of the Redbirds since I first started watching baseball when I was a little kid. My baseball background is as follows: I was an all-state pitcher/outfielder in high school and played college baseball at a little school in Columbus (O-H..I-O). Being from Ohio you can all imagine I didn't have too many people to talk Cardinal baseball with so I have always been on my own with my fandom up here in Cleveland. In the last few years, through the magic of Twitter, I have finally been able to connect to other Cards fans and now have been offered this opportunity to write about the team that I have loved throughout my life. Most of my posts will be opinion based with as much statistic analysis as I can put together to back up my thoughts. I look forward to many conversations with my fellow fans who bleed Cardinal red.
