Rangers sign Michael McKenry & Donnie Veal

ARLINGTON, TEXAS~ Free agent Michael McKenry has signed a minor league contract with the Texas Rangers that does include a invintation to major league Spring training.
The AL West champions, Texas Rangers, also signed lefty Donnie Veal to a minor league contract on Wednesday.



McKenry has appeared in the big league with the Colorado Rockies (2010, 2014-15), he also played 1 year with the Pittsburgh Pirates (2012-13), he smacked 4 homers and 17 RBI's in 59 games his batting average was. 215 in August before tearing his meniscus. McKary is a .239 hitter in 308 games.

Veal had a .169 ERA in 17 games for Aguilas in the Dominican Winter League. Veal has 105 major league relief appearances going 3-3 with a 5.48 ERA for Pittsburgh (2009), & Chicago White Sox  (2013-14), and Alanta (2015).
