Toronto Blue Jays closer Aaron Sanchez will replace Red Sox closer Craig Kimbel in Tuesday's All-Star Game. Kimbel twisted his ankle and will be out 3-6 weeks.

Sanchez is 10th in the AL with a 1.19 WHIP and 103 strikeouts. He is also fourth with a 2.97 ERA. He has allowed two runs or less in 13 of his 18 starts this season. His 9-1 record is third best in baseball. It's also the highest in Blue Jays history before the All-Star break.

Sanchez is very familiar with San Diego, too. He grew up in Barstow, which is three hours from Petco Park, where the game will be played Tuesday.
