New York Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon will replace San Francisco Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner in the MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 12. The game will be played at Petco Park in San Diego.

Colon will be the third oldest pitcher to ever play in an MLB All-Star Game at age 43 years and 49 days old. Bumgarner is unavailable to play in the All-Star Game because he is starting for the Giants on Sunday.

Colon is the third Mets player to be selected to the ASG. Yoenis Cespedes, Noah Syndegard and Jeurys Familia will also be a part of the game.
