Rockies Call Up Prospect David Dahl

The Colorado Rockies will call up their top prospect, outfielder David Dahl on Monday. Dahl was drafted by the Rockies in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft. He hit six home runs, six doubles and 16 RBIs during his time with Triple-A Albuquerque. 

To make room for him, the team designated Brandon Barnes. Dahl will most likely play in left field for the time being. Charlie Blackmon and Carlos Gonzalez are the Rockies' center fielders, Dahl's original position.
