Cleveland Indians Yan Gomes will miss the next four to eight weeks with a right shoulder injury. The injury caused him to exit the team's game against the Minnesota Twins game on Sunday.

He suffered the injury while running to first base. He fell and landed on his right shoulder. He went 1-2 for the game before suffering the injury.

He had to be carted off the field. After the game, Gomes said that he felt as if he separated the shoulder. He has just one hit since June 29.
