Coco Crisp Suspended One Game

Coco Crisp has been suspended for one game for hitting an umpire with his bat. The incident took place on Thursday night. Crisp didn't like a call make by umpire DJ Reyburn. In anger, Crisp tossed his bat towards Reyburn and it hit him.

Crisp was ejected from the game and the MLB announced that he would be suspended on Friday. He finished the game going 0-3. The game ended his 12-game hitting streak, which was tops in the majors. The A's beat the Houston Astros in the game 3-1.

Crisp has recorded 19 doubles, seven home runs and five steal with the Oakland Athletics this season. The A's are in fourth place in the AL West with a 37-49 record.
